THIS IS WORKING — EPISODE 4: Silent Meetings and Stray Dogs — It’s the weekend, but the work and passion never stops. Today Dave ducks into a different kind of meeting.
I think we needed to set a goal for when we were going to complete the mind mapping of our goals. It seems to be getting a little behind as we’ve prioritized some client projects and new business meetings. Just as we were getting serious about putting together the mind map for each goal, we got a little sidetracked.
THIS IS WORKING — EPISODE 2: Finalizing Our Goals — Somebody once said that goals are just dreams until you put them on paper. Well, we put them on a whiteboard (hope that works for us). So take a look. There’s nothing easy about these goals, but they’re achievable—someone’s doing it, right??
The pilot episode of “This is Working.” In this video series we’re going to take you through the process as SOZO | Pivotal repositions itself in this new economy. In the first episode we talk a little bit about staying true to our goals and making sure we hold each other accountable. Keep in mind that this is totally off the cuff—much how we like it.
About “THIS IS WORKING”
At SOZO | Pivotal we truly enjoy working at the crossroads of branding, design and business. As business owners wrapping up their first decade of entrepreneurship, Kimberly Leclercq and Dave Klonke have experienced all sorts of triumphs and challenges. Good or bad—it’s all part of the adventure.

Now they’ve decided to invite you along as they start a new chapter in the journey of growing SOZO | Pivotal and building a socially responsible company focused on doing outstanding work. It’s a journey that’s going to bring them back to the drawing board to analyze what the company is doing and how it’s doing it. You’re going to get a look into the inner workings of a real Michigan-based business that refuses to let recessions, FOR LEASE signs, dismal national statistics and unemployment rates drag it down.
There’s excitement and opporutunity all around us, but sometimes it’s just a little harder to find. So come along and join Kimberly and Dave as they show you how they’re repositioning their successful branding and design company.
